Innovation often depends on having a different Perspective. | Sonu Goswami
Innovation often depends on having a different Perspective. Perspective is shaped by Experience, and real Experience usually comes with age or Maturity. However, in Israel, #experience, #perspective, and #maturity often arrive at a young age because society here imparts valuable experiences to Israelis barely out of high school. By the time they reach college, their outlook on life is distinctly different from their American and Indian counterparts. It's the combination of early education, young marriages, and military training that gives them a whole new perspective on life. Good morning to my LinkedIn connections😊, and a very warm welcome to the world of startups 😊🙏.Today, I am excited to share my thoughts on 'Startup Nation' 📕by Dan Senor and Saul Singer. Founded 75 years ago in 1948, Israel evolved into a *Startup Nation* in the early 2000s. Despite its modest size (almost the size of our state Kerala), with a hostile neighborhood and is short on water resources, it has managed to mark its place in the world rankings. Israel stands tall as a global leader in startups, boasting a strong culture of innovation, a well-educated workforce, and a supportive government. In 2015, Israeli startups achieved $9.5 billion in exits with 150 companies listed on #NASDAQ, while in 2023, Israeli startups soared to $12.5 billion in exits with 175 companies listed on NASDAQ — around one startup per 1,400 people. Companies are leading in every field from agriculture to technology. (And in the mid-2010s, India's startup journey began with Flipkart; it has the potential to become a major player in the global startup scene in the future, with 10 companies listed on NASDAQ: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, WNS Holdings, MakeMyTrip, Fretworks, and Vedanta) and In 2022, India produced more unicorns 🦄 than any other country in the world.
